Tiny Stitch Markers for Toe Up Socks- kfb ssk k2tog
This set of tiny stitch markers is just what you need for knitting toe-up socks. The markers labeled for knitting in the front and back of a stitch (kfb) are ideal for the increases in the toe of a toe-up sock. There are also decrease markers ssk and k2tog to use with the heel. Each marker is fitted with a ring that fits up to a US3 needle.
– 4 kfb, 2 ssk, 2 k2tog
– 8 removable markers (color may vary)
– needle gauge for US00 to US1.5 needles
– slide top tin with engraved bamboo argyle sock
How to use with socks that have a increase every other row:
The stitch markers lay flat against your work and only have writing on one side. When you have a pattern when the increases need to happen every other row, perform the increase/decrease, then flip the marker to the blank side when you slip the marker. When you come around to the markers on the next round and the blank side is up, don’t do the increase/decrease, flip and slip the markers.
How to use with larger needles:
This set includes metal bulb-style opening stitch markers that fit larger needles. Open them up and hang your marker on there to use with sweaters, scarves, etc.
Each marker is very tiny and measures less than 1/4 inch across. The box is approximately 1 3/4 by 1 inch.
