The Singer Sewing Machine company produced Touch & Sew models from the late 1960’s to the late 1970s (model numbers 600 and 700 series). The earliest models were manufactured with all metal gears and are still reliable stitchers at over 50 years old. Most of these models were capable of making decorative stitches with the use of drop in or internal cams and some had the new innovation of ‘drop-in bobbin winding.’
