I had been worried that i didn’t haven’t enough
href="http://secure.elann.com/productdisp.asp?NAME=Gjestal+Naturgarn+No%2E+1&Season=&Company=&Cat=ALLY&ProductType=5&OrderBy=&Count=42"
target="NewWindow">Gjestal Naturgarn yarn for my felted bag, and
figured this out just when elann ran out. doesn’t it figure. then, i convinced
myself that i had just enough and that i would make the handles out of a
different yarn. Then gen points out the elann has new stock. crap - just when i
think i have it all figured out. i hate to order just one ball of yarn…. but
really this yarn looks like it will be great for felting (though i haven’t
tried it yet) and it is a great price, so get yourself
some!

I have been so busy at school
that It took me one whole day to find out that the new href="http://www.knitty.com">knitty is out. I like many of the
patterns, but i think the things that I am most likely to make are

target="NewWindow">wavy, href="http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter04/PATTmaryella.html"
target="NewWindow">maryella,
maybe the

target="NewWindow">very tall socks,
and my very own

target="NewWindow">womb.
Must
stick to the small projects.

I have previously eyed some beaded patterns on
super-small needles, and I think maryella might be good practice. plus i like
cuffs.

I am still in the honeymoon
period with my Denise needles (does the love wear out?) and thought i would post
a picture that i took after i first got them. When i was debating their
purchase i kept wondering how the size and shape of the needles compared to addi
turbos. so here you go, a side-by-side comparison of US#10 (the denise one has
no cable in it).

You can kinda see how the entire Denise needle
(bottom) is shorter than the addi, but that the tip is much pointier. Just in
case you were wondering like me.
