You didn’t even know i was working on this… September 28, 2004
I went to visit my family for a week, and all
that plane time was ideal for knitting.
that plane time was ideal for knitting.
Determined to knit christmas gifts, i started a
scarf for my grandma. inspired by target="NewWindow">b , i used one strand of
href="http://www.yarn.com/yarns-knitting/crystal_fx.html"
target="NewWindow">berroco crystal FX (red)
and one of
Cascade 220 (black).
I used my favorite href="http://spinayarn.com/free.htm" target="NewWindow">diagonal scarf
pattern, and was finished in no time. I used #10 needles, but if i
had to do it over again, i would use something bigger. this is basically the
same thing i said about the multidirectional diagonal scarf, but I just can’t
seem to learn. i knit very tightly, and making any lacy openwork patterns seems
to be difficult for me.

It is a little short, but so is my grandma. I think
it works out.
