Cozy complete September 16, 2004
Over the weekend i went camping, and i started knitting a beer cozy.
I worked on it a little bit at knitting circle, and then i finished it up last night.
ta da!
I designed it myself. it has two cables, one on each side and 2×2 ribbing in between. i knit it in the round on #7 DPN’s using Schachenmayer Rainbow (I think the color is tropicana). I would post the pattern, but i think that i want to adjust it a little bit. i think it could use a few more ribs in between the cable to give it a little extra room to fit over fatter bottles. you can see a bigger picture in my finished projects gallery.
Also, my friend cheryl is a mad knitter and just started a knitting blog: purl, interrupted . Go visit her!
The babies that i have been knitting for are finally here. i guess i should make a delivery of those booties before they outgrow them. i still have to sew together the second baby blanket, too.
Finally, i have decided to put the tank top on the back burner. Summer is over, and i feel like i should get back to working on my leg warmers.
