Critter knitting
I have been wanting to try some of the colorful patterns in Barbara
walker’s Second treasury of knitting patterns , so last
night I got to work. I used some old acrylic yarn (the blue was given to my by
rachel when she cleaned out her stash). I made some mistakes, but i just kept
going since it was just practice. I have decided that i only need to do a
couple of squares and i will have a enough to make a blanket to donate to Critter
Knitters. So this one is for the kitties!! I am not going to keep
track of this on the WIP’s because i don’t want to have any pressure to actually
get it done….

The pattern is closed daisy stitch and i am using
green 100% acrylic yarn and blue orlon. what the heck is orlon anyway? do they
still make it or is it some old name for acrylic?
