baby blanket problem solved!

So, my friends and I are all knitting 10″ x 10″ squares to assemble into a
baby blanket. I ordered a bunch of mission falls 1824 cotton to knit it up
with, and i really screwed up. I ordered colors #103, 104, and 105.
unfortunately 103 and 104 (pebble and sand) were so close in color that i
thought initially that they were the same color, but different dye lots.
clearly this would not do for the blanket, but since our friend is expecting
twins, we were hoping to make 2 blankets anyway. we decided to knit everything
up and put 103 and 104 in different blankets. Last night ingrid and i went to
the yarn store to pick out some more colorful colors to fill in with. I stole
the yarn pics from Yarn Forward from whom i am buying the yarn (so
i think it is okay…)
The top row is for the blanket for “baby,” and the bottom row is for
“also baby.” The “also baby” colors are a little cheerier and not as dirty as
they look on my screen. i think it will look great.
