Red booties March 22, 2004
I didn’t charge ahead on the socks, like i thought i might. instead i made
most of 1 red baby bootie.

Today I got the yarn for the baby blanket my friends and i are hoping to
make. But the colors just aren’t right. i got 3 shades of mission falls
cotton, and 1 of them definitely needs to be replaced with a better color. so
sad. i guess we can get started at least.

But, on a lighter note, i
also got the yarn for the cabled-thigh-high leg warmers I want to make. I guess
it is not very spring-like of me to start knitting leg warmers, but this gives
me plenty of time to get them done for the fall.
