Gen’s tea cosy

It is a tea cosy for her brother. It
is knit with two colors of yarn pulled tightly together which causes each of the
ribs to pucker up. It also makes extra thick for keeping the tea warm. The
colored yarn is Noro Kureyon, and the white is Lamb’s Pride. It is Fiber Trends
Pattern #214.

It took her a long time to finish it,
so she says she will only do it again using bigger needles and yarn. i think
she is starting on the second one using her kool-aid dyed yarn and plans to give
it to her parents. Their only request was that it not be too gaudy… to which
Gen said “whoops.” i think it would also make a really cute
hat.
