Knitting on the plane

I will be traveling to Copenhagen in a few weeks
and i have already started thinking about what to take on the plane. I like the
idea of knitting more baby booties, but the ones i like are on DPN’s and I dont
really want to risk losing them. None of my current projects really seem to fit
the bill. I would like to take something that is pretty simple and that i
could knit on circular needles ( even straight-style) so that i dont have to
risk losing/breaking needles.

oh yeah.
breaking needles. Never broke one ever, then i broke 2 in 1
day.

my roommate returned from traveling and
pulled out her knitting to show us how much she had done, and her needle was
broken too. so sad. it’s going around.
beware.

and more bad things happened to
me. On Friday it seemed like my computer was kinda misbehaving. I put it to
sleep, and when I tried to wake it up, it couldnt find the hard drive. After
freaking out for about 2 hours, I tried to start it again and it worked. So i
thought it must have just overheated or something. Luckily i took this
opportunity to back up most of my work. My computer never started again….
The hard drive died, but i have already replaced it. I backed up enough of my
work that i will not have to drop out of grad school and never speak of science
again, but i lost some personal stuff. like all of my pictures. Bummer. i
would have lost this blog too, had i not faithfully backed it
up.

So what kind of project should i do
on the plane, huh?
