major stash enhancement
Not only was i a bad girl and drove my car to school (risking parking tickets), i then drove it to a yarn store and bought a bunch of yarn.
It was my first shopping trip to Article Pract. I bought a bunch of yarn, but it isn’t for me. It is for christmas gifts. I got some wool to knit my uncle a set of beer cozies in Ohio state colors for tailgating. i got some fuzzy red yarn to make a scarf for my little old grandma. i think it should look good with her black winter jacket. Finally, I got some wool tweed to make a mitten and hat set for my aunt.
Tina at La Principessa knits has brought an amazing thing to my attention. handpaintedyarn.com. They have the most beautiful yarns, and they seem so cheap. i think i might be able to afford to knit myself a sweater in a yarn that i really like! Really, click that link… it is amazing.
