Almost home June 20, 2007
I am not quite done with my vacation in Alaska. It seems I overestimated Alaska’s cooperation with roaming cell phone users from the “lower 48.” I can’t send pictures via my phone. But I posted a few on flickr for the curious.

When you see me, beware because I have acquired many new and dangerous skills.

Ooo, look at you! Styrofoam for dinner. I like mine on the rare side, please.
WOW!!! **green with envy** i wanna learn me some bow-hunting skills…
how did you go about planning/going on this trip?
can’t wait to hear about it all when you get back to the ‘lower 48′. :o)
and i can’t believe those people were so close to that bear…a mama bear with cubs too. impressive…
and jealous, again…
:o)
p.s. i’m a left-eyer too.
I\’m so jealous! I LOVE archery! Haven\’t done it since summer camp in the late 70\’s (eesh!) but I remember it being my favorite part of camp!
I was the best shot in my unit in Germany with an M16 and a 9mm. I credit the archery of earlier days.
Great pics, looks like a wonderful trip.
Cool photos! The one with the bear and the fishermen is amazing. Unbelievable. Did the fishermen react, or even see it? Dude. Have a good trip home!
Looks like you\’re having a fun trip. come home safe.
Yes, but can you kitchener with it?
truman and terry are completely beside themselves with no one to go hiking and fishing with. on the positive side of things, however, i have a new pair of breathable waders, so look out fishies!
