Stuff for me. March 6, 2007
I have been throwing a bump of roving into the dye pot at a rate of about one a day, just to get some stuff dyed. I had the intention of putting it in my etsy shop, but I like them so much I think I will be keeping them.
The bottom one is inspired by dandelions. I am thinking of submitting it to the Yarn Museum Flora gallery if I get it spun in time.
Even though I have deprived you of the opportunity to shop for roving, if you really want to do some shopping, I have somewhere to send you. Threadless.
Hurry over there cause they are having a $10 sale.

I like the subtle use of a unicorn…
And my students should like this one:
It would have helped them identify the 8 planets in the solar system for their midterm exam. Yes, college students in a class called “the Planets” missed that question.
Sales! March 5, 2007
I made a few St.Patty’s Day moustache buttons, specially priced to make it to a new home before the holiday

Available in my etsy shop.
I discovered a few sets of cosmetically challenged stitch markers that I would like to get rid of. They are 100% usable and readable, they just have an irregular shape or gloss. They are still made with silver-plated findings.

Click through and choose “all sizes” to see a large version
I also took one with the flash so you can see the state of the gloss.
They are $6 each including shipping, or you can have all of them for $15 including shipping. What a deal! I will only accept payment via paypal (and I can process credit cards through paypal). If you want one/some email me (karrie at girlontherocks . com) and I will send you an invoice.
A quick beginning March 3, 2007
If you wind up just one ball of your new yarn before you loan your ballwinder to a friend, and you make a really quick gauge swatch, and it turns out perfectly, you are supposed to start the sweater right away even if you already have a million projects in progress, right?
The beginnings of my Central Park Hoodie out of Arucania Nature Wool just acquired at stitches west. First use of my lovely Zero Stitch Markers.
