Shop til you drop October 12, 2006
I celebrated Columbus Day in fine fashion, by travelling to the outlet mall to get some clothes. I have no nice clothes and wanted to try and get some a little earlier than the day before I need to wear them - that always results in bad purchases. Myself and two of my friends fille dup the back of a car. success.
But, if you live in the SF bay area (the east bay in particular), the shopping opportunities for this weekend are many.
- First (and my favorite) the El Cerrito City Wide Garage sale. A few years ago I got everythinq that i wanted: French onion soup bowls, a crock pot for yarn dyeing, and a hot air popcorn popper. Follow that link for a particiant map.
- Next up is the Designer Craft Sale in Oakland. Never been, but looks like it should be good.
- Finally, there is also the Pacific Fine Arts Festival in Montclair, Oakland. I don’t really know much about this one either…
Honestly, i will be spending all of my shopping tme in El Cerrito… Let me know how the other ones turn out.
