I don’t really know what. Apparently a script on my page was slowing the shared server that it resides on – meaning I was making other peoples pages load slower. So i got shut down. I took the “opportunity” to upgrade wordpress so things will be ina bit of upheaval around here for a few days.

i have to say, so far i LOVE the new wordpress (2.3.3) and I am so glad that I finally upgraded to a theme that is compatible with widgets. Many of things that I had achieved previously only by poorly pasting together code are now practically standard. Blogging is much easier now.

Ho hum. I got it working, but I can’t have tags and anything else working at the same time. So I will be without tags for a while. Also, my archives are being fidgety. well…. they are being broken. i think this problem solved itself a few weeks ago, so maybe that will happen again.

I have been tracing the path of the RSS commands through tons of files that i barely understand. Then, finally – i found it! One of the files wasn’t uploaded properly and was essentially empty. Once i fixed that, I just had to undo mess i made by tryng to edit the code myself.

Now if i can figure out why only about 25% of images show up in firefox (whether they are hosted on my site or on flickr) I will be settled in to my new home. Any ideas?? help??
