<p><font face="Helvetica">You can&#8217;t really see it in this picture, but I have a little bit of waste yarn in there to reserve the spot for the afterthought heel.  Don&#8217;t ask me how I am going to pull that off&#8230; I have never done one before!  When I find some good resources, i will let you know.</font></p>
<p><font face="Helvetica">Mostly, the trip was about<br />
geology, not knitting.</font></p>

You have probably honked at some that were clinging to a rock outcrop near a freeway exit.</font></p>
<p><font face="Helvetica">  <img src="http://www.girlontherocks.com/knit/images/DSC01294.jpg" height="250" width="334" alt="" />  </font><br /><font face="Helvetica">I got to look at some great scenery that is made of some really cool rocks.</font></p>
<p><font face="Helvetica">Most importantly, i tracked down something previously only known to me as a myth:</font></p>
